Human + Canine Longevity and Healthspan Science

Healthspan
works the same
on both sides of the leash.

I partner with veterinary teams to bring healthspan and longevity science into everyday care, giving both veterinarians and dog parents the clear, actionable guidance they need to extend healthy life for both species. Because in a world of escalating chronic disease, inaction quietly shortens every future. My proprietary application, combined with personalized concierge healthspan and longevity coaching, translates scientific insights into practical, actionable strategies.

"A healthy life built together, for the dog, the dog parent, and the veterinary team, is more sustainable and more effective than one built for any of them alone."
It is not a metaphor. It is science.

"Today's canine parents are increasingly seeking support around prevention, healthspan, and longevity. They're not looking for a diagnosis alone. They're looking for a framework they can trust and use."

Denice A. Fox

While most canine wellness relies on trends, my work is grounded in clinical science.

The space is full of dedicated holistic coaches, thoughtful nutrition approaches, and genuinely caring wellness content. The work here simply occupies a different category, defined by where the credentials come from, whose health is being built, and how deeply it reaches into a veterinary practice.

Much of the canine wellness space
  • ·Often guided by a single philosophy or modality
  • ·Centered on the dog, with the human alongside but separate
  • ·Offered direct to dog parents, outside the clinical relationship
  • ·Frequently leads with nutrition or supplements as the core answer
  • ·Built on shorter-form certifications
On Both Sides of the Leash
  • Grounded in Mayo Clinic trained, evidence-based health and behavior change
  • Two species at once, with the dog's and human's healthspan + longevity built in parallel
  • Integrated team-wide into veterinary practice, not siloed
  • Applied methodology: the mechanism, not the trend
  • A career-deep foundation across human and canine health
1
Clinical-grade, not opinion-based

I am trained by the Mayo Clinic and board certified through NBHWC/NBME in evidence-based health coaching. This is the gold standard for science-grounded healthspan and longevity work, not wellness trends.

2
Two species, one shared biology.

Where most approaches focus on the dog's health alone, my work builds healthspan and longevity for both the human and the dog in parallel. The same core biological systems, stress regulation, nervous system state, and environmental input shape outcomes in both species. This is not a metaphor. It is grounded in science.

3
Team-integrated, not direct-to-shelf

The framework cascades through the entire veterinary team, from front desk to exam room to client portal, so the healthspan and longevity conversation is consistent at every touchpoint.

4
Science translated for real use

My work bridges human and veterinary medicine, turning peer-reviewed healthspan + longevity and aging science into something a veterinary team and a dog parent can actually use, with evidence held to clinical scrutiny.

Shared Biology
Shared Opportunity

Dogs and humans don't just live together. They age together. The same stress systems. The same social bonding mechanisms. The same environmental pressures on healthspan and longevity. This is documented, peer-reviewed, and clinically relevant. It's also almost entirely absent from how veterinary care is currently delivered and how dog parents are currently supported.

That gap is the opportunity, both for veterinary teams ready to meet their clients at the level they're already thinking, and for dog parents who are done with wellness content that doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

The change
Dog parents want to understand the science that will help their dog live healthier and longer, not just manage disease when it arrives. They're looking for a practice that meets them there.
The science is real
The shared biology of human and canine aging is documented, growing, and clinically relevant. The same systems shape outcomes across species: stress physiology, neural regulation, environmental exposure, social bonds.
The gap is the opportunity
Practices that speak to this build the kind of trust that makes the client loyal for life. Veterinary teams and their clients who find my work discover the clarity they've been looking for since they first started paying attention to healthspan and longevity science.
You need a framework, not talking points
Consistency across the entire team, from front desk to exam room to client portal, is what makes the difference between a moment of insight and a veterinary practice clients return to and refer from.

Bridging Human & Veterinary Medicine
for Healthier and Longer Lives

I partner with veterinarian hospitals and their teams to build a framework for healthspan and longevity for humans and dogs, grounded in the understanding of what drives healthspan and longevity across species. My coaching is secondary to that framework and serves as a practical resource for veterinary teams and dog parents to implement the framework in sustainable, everyday ways.

My training through Mayo Clinic's evidence-based framework, board certification through NBHWC/NBME, and certification in applied neuroscience through The Neuroscience Academy gave me the clinical and scientific language to build on this work. These foundations strengthened my understanding of how to frame healthspan and longevity in both humans and dogs.

The platform, the podcast, the membership, and the veterinary framework exist because of a single persistent insight: healthspan and longevity don't belong to a single species. And neither does the science supporting it. Many of the same principles that support a dog's healthspan and longevity support the human holding the leash.

Mission

To bridge the scientific understanding of human and canine health, and to empower individuals to navigate healthspan and longevity for all species.

Vision

A world where the healthspan and longevity of a human and the healthspan and longevity of their canine are designed together, optimized together, and celebrated together. Where science serves both species with equal precision. And where the bond between human and canine becomes one of the most powerful health interventions.

What changes when your veterinary team works with me

My work is designed to support veterinary practices beyond the exam room, transforming how teams operate, how clients experience care, and how veterinary teams thrive and sustain themselves in the work.

For veterinary practices

Ready to lead the conversation your clients are already having?

Many veterinary practices are still built for treating disease. Their clients are asking about preventing it, and about how the science of aging connects across species. The human-canine healthspan and longevity framework is a structured, science-grounded approach to integrating healthspan and longevity science into everyday veterinary care. When appropriate, I also coach dog parents directly, ensuring your recommendations don't stop at the clinic door.

1
Practice Assessment

We begin with where your veterinary team is today: how your team currently communicates about healthspan, longevity, prevention, and lifestyle, and where the most significant opportunities exist.

2
Team-Wide Training

The framework is introduced to the full team, including veterinarians, vet techs, practice managers, and support staff, so the healthspan and longevity conversation is aligned at every client touchpoint, not siloed in the exam room.

3
Ongoing Resource + Referral

Your veterinary team becomes a trusted referral destination for dog parents who want to go deeper, through appointments, resource cards, client portals, and your veterinary team website.

Clients who feel guided, not just treated, and who refer others looking for the same thing
Team-wide alignment: every member speaks the same language from front desk to follow-up portal
A trusted referral resource your clients can access between visits, one you've vetted and helped direct them toward
A science-grounded reputation as a destination for long-term health, not just episodic visits
Higher-value care delivery that elevates the depth and quality of every client interaction
Support that extends beyond the visit, through the membership and direct coaching with Denice

"Veterinary leaders ready to evolve how their veterinary practices deliver long-term health: let's talk about what this looks like inside yours."
